In the game "Animal Crossing" for the Nintendo DS, one part of the character's chores is to pull up weeds in the garden. Instead of worrying about the weeds, you can change every weed in the game into a "bell." A bell is the official form of currency in "Animal Crossing," and players can rack up money quickly using the cheat code. This cheat requires the DS Action Replay MAX.
Set Up
Insert the Action Replay MAX into your Nintendo DS console. Insert the "Animal Crossing" game into the slot on the top of the Action Replay device. Power on your Nintendo DS and wait for the Action Replay software to load and automatically recognize the Action Replay MAX game. Go to the "Master Code" and press "A" to turn it on.
Cheat Code Entry
Press "B" to enter a new code. Type in "Weed to Bells," or something else you can remember, for the code title. Game Play
Go back to the main screen for the cheat codes and go to "Load Game." It will apply the money cheat and then load the game. During the game, do not enter the bedroom in your home. This will interfere with the cheats and cause the game to freeze. If possible, just stay out of the whole house until you are done using the code.
Collecting Money
Walk around the yard to where weeds are normally located. All of the weeds will be replaced with bells. Simply walk over them to collect them all. Go around the town to other neighbors and collect money from there as well. When you have the money you want, save the game and power down the Nintendo DS. Remove the Action Replay MAX, insert "Animal Crossing" and proceed with normal game play.
