When you create a monster on the Moshi Monsters website, you select the monster's type and color and provide basic information about your account such as the desired name and password and your gender, email address and birth date. However, you cannot log in to your account or begin playing with your monster immediately. Before you can begin using your Moshi Monsters account, you must click an email link to activate it. In addition, your new monster will ask you a few basic questions when you first log in. You must answer them to activate your account fully.
Instructions
1. Log in to the email account that you entered when setting up your Moshi Monsters account and open the message from Moshi Monsters with the subject "Welcome to Moshi Monsters."
2. Click the link in the message under the text "you must activate your account by clicking on the link below." You should now see a new page in your browser with the message "Your account has been activated."
3. Type the user name and password that you selected when setting up your Moshi Monsters account. Click "Login" or press "Enter." This logs you in and displays your new monster.
4. Click the field under "My monster's name is" and type the name that you want to give your monster. Click "Next," and then click "Yep!" to confirm the name.
5. Click "Boy" or "Girl" to indicate your gender.
6. Click the drop-down menu under "I live in..." and select your country. Click "Next."
7. Click the drop-down menus under "My birthday is..." and select your date of birth. Click "Next."
8. Click the "Let's go!" button to enter your monster's house and activate your Moshi Monsters account fully.
