Winetasting Events In Fort Worth Texas

Experience wine-tasting events in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth, located in central Texas about an hour away from Dallas, is most famous for its stockyards and cowboy-flavored downtown. However, for wine connoisseurs, Fort Worth is also home to a variety of wine-tasting events. Some wine tastings benefit humanitarian groups, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Fort Worth boutique wine shops hold weekly wine tastings. Add this to my Recipe Box.

The Big Taste

The Big Taste is an annual wine tasting event in Fort Worth that is held to raise funds for the youth mentoring organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters. The Big Taste is typically held at the Fort Worth Hilton on Main Street, and offers gourmet food from local restaurants and eateries, live entertainment and an auction. Wine for the tasting comes from several nearby wineries and restaurants, including Kiepersol Winery, Brushy Creek Vineyards and Winery and The Wine Frog. People who wish to attend the Big Taste without purchasing tickets can call to ask about volunteering opportunities.
