Pay For Ads On Craigslist

In some Craigslist locations, postings such as job listings are subject to a charge. For example, posting a job listing on the San Francisco Craigslist page costs $75, as of the date of publication. To post a listing in a city that charges for a certain type of post, know pay for these postings so you're prepared when you place your ad.


Instructions


1. Sign in to your Craigslist account at Craigslist.org. For posts that require payment, you need an account with Craigslist, though users who don't have an account can make non-paid posts.


2. Click the craigslist section -- jobs, apartments or services, for example -- in which you want you want to create a post. Then click the "post" link in the upper right corner of the screen.


3. Check the box next to the category in which you want your post, then click "Continue."


4. Click the radio button next to the specific area in which you want to publish your post, then click "Continue." You may be asked to narrow the location down further. If so, click the radio button next to the nearest location once more, then click "Continue" again.


5. Create your post by typing a post title and the body of your post into the "Posting Description" box. When finished, click "Continue." Click "Continue" again after previewing your ad, which takes you to a payment screen.


6. Enter your credit card information as well as your contact name, contact phone number and contact email address, then click the "Submit" button. Your card will be charged for the cost of your Craigslist post, and the post will immediately go live on the Craigslist site.
