They may not be as furry, but Sims puppies can still be hard work.
Sims 2 Pets is a version of the classic Sims 2 game, in which your character can own and care for pets, alongside their other Sims 2 activities. There are many dog breeds to choose from in the game; and it is possible to customize your dogs to make them unique. If your pets are well cared for, and you follow certain criteria, it's possible to breed a male and female dog to create puppies.
Instructions
1. Acquire one male and one female dog, both large or both small. You can either purchase them from the pet store on the neighborhood lot, adopt them from the street, or create them when you create your family.
2. Make your dogs become friends or best friends, by getting them to interact with each other. You can check your dogs' friendship status by checking the "Relationship" tab for each of them. You must do the same for your human character and the dogs.
3. Click on the "Buy" tab and go to the "Miscellaneous" section. Here you can purchase a dog house. This is essential if you want puppies, as your dogs will retreat here to breed.
4. Feed your dogs, and play with them, to keep them healthy and happy. Your dogs will not breed if they are hungry, unwell or sad.
5. Click on your human character; so that you are controlling him. Then click on either of your dogs. One option will be "Try for puppies with...," - select this option.
6. Wait while your dogs go into the kennel and "Woohoo." -- If you hear a lullaby playing -- this means your female dog has become pregnant. Her puppies will be born in approximately four days of game-play time.
