Homemade Circus Party Invitation Ideas

Make your own circus themed invitations to get kids in the mood for an exciting party.

Throw a big top birthday celebration that your party guests won't forget. Get the party excitement brewing with circus themed invitations that you can make yourself at home. This will help with expenses and add a more personal touch to the invitations. Does this Spark an idea?

Admit One

Make a party invitation that looks like a ticket. You can cut construction paper or card stock into ticket shapes, or use a word processing program to create your tickets. Write the party details underneath "Admit One" and use wording such as "Come One, Come All to Jane's Birthday Party." Get creative with the fonts and wording. If you're handwriting them, use fancy writing and lots of shiny star stickers.

Balloon Invitation

Write the party invitation details on an inflated balloon using a permanent black marker. Don't tie the balloon, just hold the ends until you are done, and then let the balloon deflate. Guests will then have to blow the balloon up to see when the party is going to be. You can mail the deflated balloon invitation in an envelope along with some confetti and stickers.

Animal Crackers

Create clown or circus themed invitations on your computer or on card stock. Attach each invitation to a box of animal crackers and have them personally delivered to each party guest's house. To really get kids in a circus state of mind, hire or have someone dress up as a clown to deliver the invitations. The kids will be delighted to get such a cool party invitation from an actual circus clown.
