Indiana offers visitors many parks, lakes and rivers to enjoy.
Indiana is located in the Great Lakes Region. Its northwestern corner borders Lake Michigan. Indiana has many parks within its borders, as well as a number of rivers and lakes that are suitable for canoeing. Many of these parks have horseback riding trails, and some also have lodging facilities.
The Turkey Run Inn
The Turkey Run Inn is located inside of Turkey Run State Park. The inn has 61 rooms in its main lodge and operates three separate cabins that are also within the park. Amenities at Turkey Run include an indoor swimming pool, game room, satellite television in every room, onsite restaurant and 5,500 square feet of meeting and banquet space. Because it is located within Turkey Run State Park, the inn provides easy access to the park's various horseback riding trails and to Sugar Creek for canoeing.

Abe Martin Lodge
Abe Martin Lodge can be found within Brown County State Park. The lodge offers its guests 84 lodge rooms and 76 rustic or housekeeping cabins. Amenities at Abe Martin include a 12,000-square-foot indoor water park and pool, two large lobbies (one with a fireplace), onsite restaurant, and meeting facilities that can accommodate up to 400 people. Abe Martin Lodge makes a great base in Brown County State Park for enjoying its many miles of horseback riding trails and canoeing on Monroe Lake. If you have never ridden a horse, the Brown County Saddle Barn can provide lessons.

White Oaks Cabins at Beautiful Patoka Lake
White Oaks Cabins is located in Hoosier National Forest, a short distance from Patoka Lake. White Oaks offers guests a choice between modern cabins, restored historic cabins, family cabins, Jacuzzi/hot tub cabins and pet-friendly cabins.
