Littlest Pet Shop are toys offered by Hasbro that feature different animal toy play sets. These toy figurines are small bobble heads made of hard and soft plastics. The Littlest Pet Shop features a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, horses, birds and even giraffes. Drawing characters from Littlest Pet Shop is easy. The toys have very distinctive features that are easy to draw, like large round eyes and over-sized heads compared to their bodies. Each animal is drawn slightly differently, but each has similarities that make them distinguishable as Littlest Pet Shop animals.
Instructions
1. Draw an outline of the shape of the head for the animal you are drawing. If you can look at a picture or toy to get the actual shape you are looking for, that would be best. Most animals have an round head that is wider and flat on the bottom. If the character has ears, they are very simple triangles that are located near the upper corners of the head.
2. Draw the eyes of the animal by making large vertical ovals. All Littlest Pet Shop animals feature over-sized eyes for both the head and body size. The eyes feature very large pupils. The pupils are located in the upper portion of the eye and will have a light or white spot within the darker portion.
3. Add the nose and mouth to the animal. The noses and mouths on Littlest Pet Shop creatures are very small compared to other features. Many times the nose is a small circle or triangle shape. The mouth is either just a small line or a small semi circle. Littlest Pet Shop animals smile.
4. Draw the body of the animal. The neck on most animals are very thin since the toys are bobble heads. The body shapes are very basic. The legs are typically blocky with very little detail.
5. Add in detail and design for each animal. Some animals have manes, spots or tufts of hair on the head. Add in any details that will distinguish the animal, like spots on a giraffe.
