1. Choose invitations with zebra or leopard print for a sophisticated Noah's Ark party. Begin the invitations with something catchy, such as, "Whether two by two, or one by one, a bundle of joy is lots of fun." Write the essential party information on the cards.
2. Plan the party's menu. Ask a local bakery to prepare a cake in the shape of Noah's Ark, trimmed with pink or blue to denote the gender of the baby. Create additional, theme-specific treats for the guests; include a trail mix that includes mini animal crackers, pretzels, dried fruit and chocolate candies.
3. Purchase decorations a day or two before the shower. Choose tablecloths featuring baby animals or a border design of Noah's Ark. Select a centerpiece for the table; set up a paper cutout of the ark and animals. Sprinkle confetti on the table in the shape of small animals to add more color and texture to the table. Purchase a favor box for each party guest.
