Atv Trails In Ohio

ATV riding


Ohio, particularly the northern and eastern portions of the state, with their rolling hills, provide an abundance of trails for riding all terrain vehicles (ATVs). Some of them are on public land, while some are on private.


Beans Bike Park


Located outside of Dennison, Beans Bike Park is 100 acres of riding country. They have miles of marked trails looping through the woods. They also have a motocross track with a two-minute-plus lap time. Their track is open for casual trail riding and practice, as well as for motocross racing, both day and night.

Happy Hollow Dirt Park


The Happy Hollow Dirt Park, in Hillsboro, offers 100 acres of rolling hills and trails with two tracks (one large, one small) and a 500-foot drag strip. The terrain is ideal for cross country ATV racing with it long hills and hard pack dirt. Primitive campsites are available for overnight camping. There is also a trailer for rent.

Briarcliff MX


The Briarcliff MX, in Nashport, just northest of Newark, specializes in motocross tracks, but it also has a two-mile-long riding trail. Their four tracks are each suited to a different level of expertise: The most challenging one, A/B Track, is about a mile long with an assortment of obstacles and jumps. The C Track consists primarily of jumps, both tabletop-style and doubles. The Pitbike Track is designed for smaller kids to ride with its banked turns and "table rollers." The youngest children will enjoy the Beginner Pee Wee Track, for beginners who are just starting out.

Monday Creek Trail System


Monday Creek, in the Wayne National Forest (WNF), is close to Nelsonville, Ohio. It has about 75 miles of trails for off-road vehicles measuring 50 inches or less. The trail system has a total of nine trailheads. These popular trails are open year-round. A WNF Trail Permit is required to ride on the trails. Both the New Staitsville and White Oak Trailheads have loading ramps.
